Google Ads management Search · Shopping · PMax

Google Ads that bring profit, not just clicks.

I run Google Search, Shopping and Performance Max for ecommerce stores. Most accounts I audit leak 30 to 60% of their spend. I find the leaks, fix the structure, and build an account that can scale without scaling the losses.

The audit

Where the money leaks

In most accounts I audit, 30 to 60% of spend goes to the wrong searches, the wrong people or the wrong page.

  1. 1

    Wrong keywords

A broad-match dump with no negatives can burn $10,000 in 3 days.

Intent-tiered keywords and negatives from day one.

  2. 2

    Wrong audiences

Google's defaults show your ads to people who were never going to buy.

    Custom, in-market and customer-match audiences.

  3. 3

    Wrong landing pages

Great ads pointing at slow, generic pages. Conversion rate matters more than CTR.

I fix your page, or build one that matches the ad.

Campaigns I run

The right campaign for each job

Search

Search

Ad groups built for relevance, several responsive ads each, sitelinks, callouts and snippets.

Shopping

Shopping

A clean product feed with the right segmentation, so budget goes to the products that make money.

PMax

Performance Max: good or bad?

Both. Great for stores with strong feeds and proper exclusion lists. A money leak for lead-gen with weak conversion data. I'll tell you straight which one you are.

YouTube

YouTube and Display

Video and image assets for reach and remarketing, once Search and Shopping are profitable.

Bing

Microsoft Ads

Usually cheaper clicks than Google, and it converts well for B2B and 40+ buyers. I import your Google campaigns and tune from there.

Tracking and reporting

You can't optimise what you can't measure

Tracking, fixed first

Most accounts need 1 to 2 weeks of clean-up here before any scaling.

Why me

I've spent my own money on Google Ads

Many PPC agencies run 200 accounts with 2 people. They turn on Performance Max and Smart Bidding and hope the algorithm figures it out.

I run a small number of accounts properly: real keyword research, negative lists kept up every week, search terms read line by line, and landing page tests that go beyond the button colour.

One account, restructured

Same $40k a month budget. New structure, clean tracking, weekly search-term work.

How it works

Audit, fix, then scale

  1. 1

    Free account audit

Keywords, search terms, bidding, ads, landing pages and tracking. A 5 to 10 page report within 72 hours.

  2. 2

    Fix the tracking

Enhanced Conversions, GTM and GA4 verified. Goals locked, dashboard built.

  3. 3

    Restructure and launch

New campaigns run next to the old ones. Budget shifts as they prove out.

  4. 4

    Optimise and scale

Weekly negatives, bids and copy tests. Budget grows gradually, never in 100% jumps.

  5. 5

    Monthly review

An honest call on what worked, what didn't and what we test next.

FAQ

Google Ads questions, answered

What's the minimum ad budget?

$2,000 a month in ad spend. Below that, the maths rarely works for either of us. My fee is 15 to 20% of ad spend or a flat monthly retainer, whichever is higher. You always own the ad account.

Is Performance Max good or bad?

Both. It works well for ecommerce with strong product feeds and proper exclusion lists. It leaks money for lead-gen accounts with weak conversion data. I'll tell you which camp you're in.

How fast will I see results?

Clean data after tracking fixes and the restructure: 2 to 4 weeks. Real ROAS movement: 6 to 10 weeks. Significant scaling: 3 to 6 months.

Smart Bidding or manual bidding?

Whatever works for that account. Smart Bidding works once a campaign has 30+ conversions in 30 days. Below that, I use manual bids or Maximize Clicks until the data builds up.

Do you run Microsoft Ads (Bing) too?

Yes. Clicks are usually cheaper than Google and it converts well for B2B and older buyers. Once Google is working, I import the campaigns to Microsoft Ads and tune from there.
