Meta Ads for ecommerce Facebook · Instagram

Meta ads that find buyers, not just impressions.

Since iOS 14, Meta ads only work with the right tracking, the right creative and the right campaign structure. I set up all three, then scale what's profitable. No “scale at all costs” playbook.

Meta Ads with Hammad

Who it's for
DTC brands spending at least $3,000 a month on Facebook and Instagram ads.
What you get
Server-side CAPI tracking, a modern campaign structure, creative briefs and weekly reconciled reporting.
Timeline
The basics fixed in the first 30 days. Most accounts at 1.5 to 2x ROAS reach 3 to 5x within 8 to 12 weeks.
Price
A monthly fee: 15 to 20% of ad spend or a flat retainer, whichever is higher. You own the ad account.
What I find in most audits

The same three problems, fixed in 30 days

  1. 1

    No CAPI

The pixel alone misses what iOS, ad blockers and cookie banners hide. You're flying blind.

Server-side Conversions API through GTM, or the native Shopify or WooCommerce integration.

  2. 2

    Random creative

Ads are “whatever the designer felt like”. No hooks, no angles, no testing plan.

    A hook-and-angle brief framework, with 5 to 10 fresh concepts a month.

  3. 3

    Old structure

Campaigns built for an algorithm that no longer exists. Broad vs interest done wrong.

Mostly broad, mostly CBO, with exclusions that keep prospecting budgets prospecting.

Tracking

Optimise on real numbers, not Meta's guess

How dedupe works

I test it with real orders, not just the Test Events tool.

The setup checklist

  • Server-side CAPI via GTMRecovers the signal iOS and ad blockers eat.
  • Dedupe verified on live ordersPixel and server share event IDs.
  • Match quality past 8.0Email, phone, name and IP hashed and attached.
  • Exclusions that holdBuyers, subscribers and junk geos left out of prospecting.

Revenue reconciled weekly

Meta's in-platform ROAS flatters itself, especially with view-through and 7-day click windows. Every week I check it against your back-end.

How it works

Fix the basics, then scale

First 30 days
  1. 1

    Free account audit

Pixel and CAPI, structure, ad sets, creative, landing pages and attribution. 8 to 12 prioritised fixes in writing.

  2. 2

    Tracking and CAPI fix

Pixel verified, CAPI live, Advanced Matching on, dedupe keys checked. Without this, nothing else matters.

  3. 3

    Restructure and launch

Mostly broad, CBO and proper exclusions. New campaigns run next to the old ones while budget shifts.

Every week after
  1. 4

    Creative iteration

Weekly creative review. Winners scale, losers get cut, new concepts briefed every 2 to 4 weeks.

  2. 5

    Scale, carefully

Budget grows 20 to 40% a week, never in 100% jumps. A monthly strategy call with honest answers.

1.5–2x 3–5xWhere most accounts that come to me land on ROAS within 8 to 12 weeks. No secret: the basics were broken.

FAQ

Meta Ads questions, answered

What's the minimum ad budget?

$3,000 a month in Meta ad spend. Below that, the algorithm doesn't get enough conversions to learn. My fee is 15 to 20% of ad spend or a flat monthly retainer, whichever is higher. You always own the ad account.

Is CAPI really worth setting up?

Yes. It's the biggest single fix since iOS 14. Accounts with proper CAPI typically recover 30 to 50% more attributed conversions than pixel-only setups.

Should I trust Meta's ROAS numbers?

No. Trust your back-end: Shopify, Stripe, GA4 or your CRM. Meta overstates ROAS, especially with view-through conversions and 7-day click windows. I reconcile the two every week.

What about Instagram, Threads and WhatsApp ads?

They all run through the same Ads Manager. For DTC that's mostly Instagram and Facebook feeds plus Reels, sometimes Stories, and occasionally WhatsApp for B2B. I spend where it converts.

Do you run TikTok Ads too?

Yes, but it's a smaller part of my work. The structure is different and the creative bar is higher. Ask me on the call if TikTok matters for your audience.
